July Recap in Pics Part 2

July always ends with the POWER lectures at the Southaven church of Christ. This year we heard wonderful lessons about Abraham. This is a very tiresome week, but well worth it. Aylin loves the doughnuts every morning, all the time she gets to spend with her friends, and following around the big girls (so thankful they are such good examples). Hilton loves all the food and getting to help his daddy prepare the drinks for lunch, but not the sitting still and being quiet part - lol. Weston got loved on everyday by extra people and seemed to like it ok ;) He started smiling some this week!

Our 2nd little blessing, Hilton Isaiah, was born 3 weeks early via an emergency c-section also because of preeclampsia. He was already 8lbs8oz and spent 9 days in the NICU because of a spontaneous pneumothorax (popped right lung); he also had a heart murmur and had to have a blood transfusion his very 1st night. Poor guy suffers from febrile seizures, and also took physical therapy for about a year b/c of delayed gross motor skills. We are so thankful to have this little man blessing our lives.

Our 3rd blessing, Weston Julian, was born 5 weeks early via another C-section because of preeclampsia. This pregnancy was a rough one: at 24 weeks I started having severe stomach pains and at 28 weeks had an emergency umbilical hernia surgery, and have been on bed rest ever since because of preeclampsia. At 32 weeks I started having daily headaches and frequent migraines (at least 2 a week). At 33 weeks our ultrasound technician discovered my amniotic fluid was decreasing and he was not showing much growth, so now we started twice a week visits and at least 1 ultrasound each week to keep a closer eye on him. We are incredibly thankful that our last little blessing arrived safely and weighed 5lbs 13oz and did not have to go to the NICU.
