The Other Snow Day

I am late with these, but what else is new?

1st-We made chocolate chip pancakes!

2nd-The dishwasher flooded!

3ed- We ate our chocolate chip pancakes, YUM!

Then we went to play in the snow!!

21 Months and Spring Tease

On Feb. 1st, Aylin Jewel turned 21 months old! She is really becoming such a big girl: talking more and more, throwing fits, being sneaky, but she still likes to love :)

We had a spring teaser! It was a beautiful 60 degrees on a Saturday, so we met some friends at the park to play! From L-R: Rachel (4), Laney (21mos), Elena(4 1/2), Aylin(21mos), and Lydia(2 1/2)!

Our 2nd little blessing, Hilton Isaiah, was born 3 weeks early via an emergency c-section also because of preeclampsia. He was already 8lbs8oz and spent 9 days in the NICU because of a spontaneous pneumothorax (popped right lung); he also had a heart murmur and had to have a blood transfusion his very 1st night. Poor guy suffers from febrile seizures, and also took physical therapy for about a year b/c of delayed gross motor skills. We are so thankful to have this little man blessing our lives.

Our 3rd blessing, Weston Julian, was born 5 weeks early via another C-section because of preeclampsia. This pregnancy was a rough one: at 24 weeks I started having severe stomach pains and at 28 weeks had an emergency umbilical hernia surgery, and have been on bed rest ever since because of preeclampsia. At 32 weeks I started having daily headaches and frequent migraines (at least 2 a week). At 33 weeks our ultrasound technician discovered my amniotic fluid was decreasing and he was not showing much growth, so now we started twice a week visits and at least 1 ultrasound each week to keep a closer eye on him. We are incredibly thankful that our last little blessing arrived safely and weighed 5lbs 13oz and did not have to go to the NICU.
