Hilton's Minion Party (3rd Birthday)

Throwing a Minion party is way too easy right now with all the Minion things out there right now :)
Hilton finally settled on having a Minion party after we found a piñata at Walmart - lol - originally we were having a Jake and the Neverland Pirates Party, then Spiderman, then Minions, and then he wanted to change it to Ironman but we had already bought some Minion things and thankfully, he was fine with keeping it that way :)  My big man is 3!  Like your typical "threenager" he can be the sweetest boy alive and then the next moment try having a meltdown, only to turn that around to being goofy :)  He still and has always been a GREAT eater and is still at the top of the charts weighing in at 40 lbs and is 40in tall.

Everyone got minion hats and goody cups :)

we played some games:
pin the goggles on the minion

 "Knocked Overrrrrr"

Throw the ball through the minion eye
we had the piñata of course
the photo booth:

 and presents:
Weston loved the minion cookie sandwiches:

Weston's Puppy "Paw"ty (1st Birthday)

I can't believe my baby boy is 1!  He is by far my most active baby, he has 2 bottom teeth and 4 top teeth, still wakes up at least once every night :(, speed crawls everywhere, pulls up on everything, likes to bite, loves to wrestle, gives THE BEST HUGS, gives kisses, and is my only baby that said "momma" for his 1st word!  He is also my smallest baby weighing in at only 19 lbs and is 29 1/2in long.  We had a puppy themed 1st birthday party for our Weston Julian.

He LOVED his cake!

We played FETCH with $1 squeaky dog toys I found at the Dollar tree and then each guest got to take them home.

Weston really could care less about opening presents - lol

But LOVED LOVED LOVED our special guest...Georgia, the Boxer puppy!

Our 2 Week Summer Kick Off

We started our summer by kicking daddy out of the house for 2 weeks!  (He went on a mission trip to the Philippines)  Everyone kept asking us are y'all ok?  It won't be too much longer? ...but if you ask Aylin, she would say "We had so much fun while daddy was gone!"  LOL - that was the point though, stay so busy that we couldn't dwell on the fact that daddy was on the other side of the Earth :)
Memorial Day lunch at Kiki's and then cousins playdate at the park.
Uncle Richard caught a fish :)

 Great Granny McCall came too!

The big 2 competed in the Mighty Guy Little Tri!  It is a run, bike, run through a Firetruck's hose spraying water race divided up by ages and then again into smaller groups of around 8.  This was Aylin's 2nd year and Hilton's first...he was so very proud of his very 1st medal!

We played outside every chance we got but it rained A LOT!
 Storytime:
We potty trained Hilton, or began potty training Hilton - he still has not pooped in the potty!
Weston has started trying to climb the stairs!
 We set up our pool:
We went to visit Captain the Colt and went horse back riding and got caught in a downpour!

We went to My Big Backyard at Memphis Botanical Gardens with cousins and their friends :)

We also had Aylin's softball games, the big 2 had a sleepover with their cousins, I got to see the newest Avengers movie, we attended a VBS with some friends, tried out some Pinterest recipes and crafts, and started our summer  homeschool curriculum which for Hilton consists of reviewing colors and eventually learning shape recognition and Aylin's is mostly just continuing her reading skills and then we got a 1st grade brain work workbook to add in some math and science.
