22 Months and a Few Flashbacks

On the 1st of March, Aylin Jewel turned 22 months old!  Because she had an ear infection, we were at the doctor again, but found out that she had finally broken the 25 lb weight streak and now weighs in at 26.3!  She is talking all the time, saying new words and phrases, but my favorite is "whuh you" or love you for those who don't speak baby.  Since it has been a while, we are going to play catch up all in this post.
The first flashback to be visited is Valentines Day:
Happy belated Valentines Day to all!  My little baby girl got a balloon, a stuffed dog, a singing card, and a POTTY SEAT!!  She tells you when she needs a diaper change so we thought we would just go ahead and get one and see what she does.  For the 1st 2 weeks she cried if you sat her on it with out her clothes on, but now she will sit there and play.  However, no action has yet to hit the inside of the potty.
The family at the Sweathearts Banquet at Southaven Church of Christ.  The youth hosted a dinner for our We Care (older members) group on Valentines Day.
NEXT, Dr. Seuss Birthday Celebration @ Target:
We had a group from church meet at Target for the book reading and then lunch.  We love our church friends! (Aylin, Lydia, Laney Claire, Elena, Rachel, Reed, and Griffin)
Next, PLAYDATE with PAYTON:
We met Kiki, PaPaw, Aunt Tessa, and cousin Payton at the park for one last playdate before Miss Macey Jo was born.  Aunt J, Uncle Richard, and daddy were working.  The girls played their little hearts out and then had a great lunch at one of our old faves, El Porton!  Payton and Aylin play so well together, I wonder how it will be when Macey Jo is thrown into the mix?
Finally, Macey Jo being thrown into the mix:
Miss Macey Jo came into this world at 20 in long and weighing 8lbs9oz (I think).  I went to pick up Payton from daycare and took her to meet her new sister, and Bobby brought Aylin to meet her new cousin a little later in the afternoon.  She is a beautiful little girl and both girls were interested in her when someone else was holding her :)  Payton was a little overwhelmed and cried a few times at the hospital, but I think she will adjust.  Everyone was and still are doing great!
I have to tell this story because I thought it was hilarious.  When I picked up Payton, all the other kids were still napping.  When she saw me, she screamed, "Aunt Blair!" and came running as fast as her little legs would carry her and she did not let any of the sleeping bodies get in her way.  She STEPPED on some poor little kids HEAD to give her a little boost!
