Hello H Week

H is for Handsome Hilton's crazy Hair! :)

I love it when HI gets out of the bath and I comb is hair back and let it dry. I love it when he has "crazy hair day" as Aylin calls it.

We had a big event planned for H week, but the weather dampened Aylin's 1st real horseback riding trip. I told Aylin we would reschedule in a couple of weeks and she seems to be okay with that. So instead we built a house with legos and played with her toy horses; not quite as exciting but oh well.

Our Bible story this week was Hannah.

Buster is 4

Our 2nd little blessing, Hilton Isaiah, was born 3 weeks early via an emergency c-section also because of preeclampsia. He was already 8lbs8oz and spent 9 days in the NICU because of a spontaneous pneumothorax (popped right lung); he also had a heart murmur and had to have a blood transfusion his very 1st night. Poor guy suffers from febrile seizures, and also took physical therapy for about a year b/c of delayed gross motor skills. We are so thankful to have this little man blessing our lives.

Our 3rd blessing, Weston Julian, was born 5 weeks early via another C-section because of preeclampsia. This pregnancy was a rough one: at 24 weeks I started having severe stomach pains and at 28 weeks had an emergency umbilical hernia surgery, and have been on bed rest ever since because of preeclampsia. At 32 weeks I started having daily headaches and frequent migraines (at least 2 a week). At 33 weeks our ultrasound technician discovered my amniotic fluid was decreasing and he was not showing much growth, so now we started twice a week visits and at least 1 ultrasound each week to keep a closer eye on him. We are incredibly thankful that our last little blessing arrived safely and weighed 5lbs 13oz and did not have to go to the NICU.
